Mexico PT. 1 CDMX
Mexico City was on the bucket list, and shall remain there. We only had two and half days to explore the before heading to Cabo. Mexico City owes me nothing, I owe her more time. I’ll be back
A few snapshots from the iPhone until I download images from the trusty Fuji X100VI. This trip wasn’t about photography; I just wanted to be present, camera as companion.
Obligatory influencer selfie on the rooftop of Hotel Dama.
Hotel Dama welcomed me with a Mezcal Tamarindo.
Said Mezcalita Tamarindo at Hotel Dama.
“Urban and untamed, Mexico City possesses a raw vitality; it is a city where the poetic is found in the most unexpected places.”
― Aleph Molinari, Mexico City - Assouline
First night Mexico City, chillin at Hotel Dama.
Menu at Campobaja.
Seats are hard to come by, arrived at Contramar right as it opened.
I wanted to order everything at Contramar.
Fish tacos at Contramar did not disappoint.
Snapper at Contramar.
Not much of a view from our hotel balcony, but appreciated being able to open the doors and let Mexico City in.
Love globetrotting with her.
The best meal I’ve had in quite some time, Pujol was everything.
Every morning I walked around the corner to Cucurucho Cafe and journaled. I still dream about the Horchata con espresso and concha.
A recent pick up, the Kodak P210R printer. The prints fit perfectly into the pocket notebook. I’ve always carried an Instax printer while traveling for my journals, giving the Kodak a trial run and loving it so far. Get your photos off your phone and into your hands. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
