Roll Call: First Frames of 2025

FAIL

The New Year started off pretty crappy. The roll of film I anticipated developing didn't auto rewind, and I might have had a frame or two left in my camera. I'm not going to blame myself because shooting film is always rainbows and unicorns damnit! Am I smiling right now or simply grinning and bearing it? We’ll never know.

I wiped away my thug tears and moved on to the next roll. These are a few frames I shot in November/December 2024. One of my resolutions this year was getting back to basics and developing my own film black and white film again. Feels good to roll up my sleeves, hands smelling of fixer.

Wishing everyone a creative 2025. Stay shootin’.

Photography full circle. Made this frame in an Apple Store during a iPhone photography and videography class. I much prefer my Yashica T4 over my iPhone for making photos.
