I’ve been thinking a lot about the wildfires down in LA, the loss is just too much to comprehend. Mother Nature is just as violent as she is beautiful, as I was reminded on this foggy sailing across the sound into Seattle from Bainbridge Island. Prayers up for LA.

The Whole Holga

I haven’t been shooting much film lately. Not sure if it’s because it’s winter in Seattle. This leads to short, wet cold days. Anyway, I finally got around to developing a roll of Kodak Tri-X 400 I ran through my Holga. Here’s a all 12 frames…the whole Holga.

Rolleiflexin'

A few sacred frames from the Rolleiflex. I say sacred not because of the subject matter but because of the time. Rarely these days do I go out just for the sake of making images. When I exposed these frames that was one of those days. I took the Rollleiflex over the Leica that day because I wanted to slow down and take my sweet ass time. Note to self, make time for the sole purpose of shooting this summer. Oh and these were shot on old faithful Kodak Tri-X 400, forgive the puns I’m a dad now and they just come so easy.
